Founded in 2004, Mednarodna podiplomska ola Joefa Stefana (Joef Stefan International Postgraduate School) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Ljubljana (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Lower Carniola. Officially recognized by the Ministrstvo za izobraevanje, znanost in port, Republika Slovenija (Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of Slovenia), Mednarodna podiplomska ola Joefa Stefana (MPS) is a very small coeducational Slovenian higher education institution. Mednarodna podiplomska ola Joefa Stefana (MPS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 18 years old Slovenian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. MPS also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
